The Ark

The Ark is our Sunday morning group for children in school years 1-6. We believe that children have an active part to play in the body of Christ, that they can have a living relationship with God and that they can know the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Our times together include worship, when we encourage the children to enter into God’s presence and listen to Him; Bible teaching in various creative forms; activities to help the children apply what is taught to their daily lives, and opportunities to pray for one another. We have lots of fun together. The children have regular opportunities to share their gifts with the whole church. We want to empower them to make a difference in the world and to extend God’s kingdom.

Toddling Tortoises – Sunday mornings

Toddling Tortoises is the Sunday morning group for children aged 0-4. We meet in the village hall at the start of each Holy Communion service, just before 10am. On Morning Praise services we walk to the village hall from church, together with those from The Ark. Toddling Tortoises is a safe place for children to be left to play, to listen to stories from the Bible and to take part in some type of activity such as craft. We aim to create a friendly, fun place for our youngest children .
