What’s Happening With SMART This Term?

Hey Everyone

As you know from the message I sent out last week (and thank you to everyone who responded to the survey that really helped) we can start meeting in person for some of our youth groups with some restrictions in place. Because of these restrictions, however, we are going to have to make some changes in how SMART works this term so here is the plan:

The first change is there will now be two different groups for SMART one for those in year 6 and up and one for year 12 and up. These will meet on alternating Saturdays, I appreciate that for some families this might make it more complicated in terms of lifts but it is the only way to make the numbers work under the restrictions we have.

The second change is that for the moment we will no longer be meeting at Cloncaird but at Avon Close (let me know if you need the address) as it is a smaller area that is easier to clean and sort for each session and works better at this time for Mick and Amanda.

The final change is one of the timings as we can’t share food together and the sessions are going to be quite different we are now going to meet from 17:00 – 18:30 this gives us time to meet and then go home for dinner.

Also as with all our face to face youth groups, you will have to wear a mask while you attend as well.

I hope that all makes sense I appreciate this means SMART is going to look very different for the time being but that also gives us a chance to play around with it and change stuff as we try out new ideas. The first session for year 6 -11 kicks off this Saturday and we can’t wait to see you all in person again! (It really is very exciting!)

If you have any questions or concerns about this new way of doing SMART please do let me know I look forward to seeing all of you soon!

God Bless
