Alpha

You are invited to our next Alpha. Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. No pressure. No follow up. Each week our evening Alpha starts with a meal and relaxed conversation. Following the meal is a short talk or video exploring various aspects of the Christian faith. Then you can ask any question and discuss your opinions freely with others. Everyone is welcome, from those with no experience of the Christian faith through to those who want to gain a better understanding. You are warmly invited and would be most welcome. Contact Richard Saunders here for more information, or to book in for our next Alpha.

The 10 O’Clock Service

When: Every Sunday at 10.00am

Our 10am services are just over an hour in length. They blend contemporary and traditional in both format and styles of music. We begin with everyone worshipping together and children and young people leave for their own programme after the first fifteen minutes or so.

Holy Communion is included on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays of the month. On the third Sunday, we all worship together and finish a little earlier. After every service, there is an opportunity for people to receive prayer for healing or for any challenges that they are facing. On the second Sunday of even-numbered months (!) this is included in the main part of The 10 O’Clock Service.

The 8 O’Clock Service

When: Every week at 8.00am

This is a traditional service with communion and without any hymns or songs. On the first and third Sundays of the month, we use the Common Worship form of words. Otherwise, we follow the order of The Book of Common Prayer.

Prayer Meetings

We have a prayer meeting most Thursday mornings at 9.00am.  We also meet most months for a Prayer & Praise meeting at 8.00pm on the first Monday of the month in the Church. If you would like to know more about our weekly prayer meeting, or are interested in attending, please contact the Parish Office.
