For centuries Christians have enjoyed the benefits of giving some extra time to God during the six weeks of Lent. Here are a few suggestions for this year. Whether you use one of these or do something else may you discover renewed intimacy with the Lord in the coming weeks, resting in his love and being more available for his service.
Join one of our Home Groups
We have groups on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Email Richard for more information. Small groups are one of the best ways to help us grow in spiritual depth as followers of Jesus.
Subscribe to International Justice Mission
(IJM)’s six week video series
Receive a short film each week with tops on how to shop consciously, information on the issue of modern slavery and inspirational stories of rescue. Plus the inside track on which brands are taking action to stop slavery. And there’s a challenge to give up one product which is likely to have slavery in its supply chain for the 40 days of lent and to give the money you would have spent on it to help rescue more people.
