We take the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults very seriously.
To allow the reporting and follow up of any incident as confidentially and as easily as possible, we have appointed a Safeguarding Officer, Elaine Heywood, who can be contacted by phone via the Parish Office number at the bottom of this page or via the Safeguarding Officer’s contact form here.
If the Safeguarding Officer is unavailable, please contact the Churchwardens in the first instance via email@example.com. Please note that the Parish Office is only manned during the times stated at the bottom of this page.
The PCC has adopted the House of Bishops’ Safeguarding policy and practice guidelines and ‘Promoting a Safer Church’ policy statement. Further information on reporting abuse and finding support can be found here.
